Step aboard our first Canola Train to Caledon (from Botrivier) and enjoy a relaxed rail experience through the rolling hills of the Overberg.
Departing from Botrivier, this journey is one that we’ve wanted to do at this specific time of year for a long time, giving guests the opportunity to enjoy the charm of travelling this line by train, through the Canola fields. The focus is on the journey itself—taking in the scenery, the rhythm of the rails, and the nostalgic atmosphere onboard.

Guests are welcome to bring along their own picnic baskets or snacks to enjoy during the trip. Please note that all beverages are to be purchased onboard, with a bar, coffee, and a selection of drinks available throughout the journey.

Upon arrival in Caledon, guests will have a short leg stretch before reboarding for the return journey. Please note that Caledon is not yet prepared for a full off-train visitor experience, and this trip is therefore centred around the train ride itself.
